CONWAY—A 33-year-old man was killed in a shooting early June 11 in Conway, authorities said.
Shortly after 3 a.m., city officers went to the 1700 block of John Street for a shooting call, according to a police department news release. Police learned the victim was at a hospital.
Charles Johnson died at Conway Medical Center around 3:30 a.m., according to a release from the Horry County Coroner's Office. He lived in Conway.

No details have been released about what led to the shooting. A police department spokeswoman said an incident report had not been completed yet.
John Street lies in the southern part of the city, about a half-mile from the intersection of U.S. highways 378 and 501.
Investigators are asking anyone with information about this case to contact the Conway Police Department at 843-248-1790.
This is the third homicide city police have investigated this year.

On Jan. 10,25-year-old Ty-Ree Graham was found along Hemingway Street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital but was pronounced dead.
Jamir Johnson, an 18-year-old Carolina Forest High School student, was gunned down Feb. 1 at a school bus stop in Conway. Police said he was preparing to head to school when he was killed.
Police have also said Jamir Johnson was involved in Graham's murder. In March, they arrestedJustice Jhamere Bright of Conway and charged him with being an accessory before the fact of murder, pointing and presenting a firearm, armed robbery and resisting arrest, according to arrest warrants.

Police say Bright and Jamir Johnson conspired to rob and kill Graham. Few details have been released about that case, but warrants saythe two men robbed Graham with a 9 mm handgun and the crime resulted in Graham's death.
Bright remains incarcerated at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.No one has been arrested in connection with Jamir Johnson's slaying.
